Deceptive Practices and Unethical Refund PolicyReview:I had an extremely disappointing experience with Open Read. I subscribed to their service and, within 24 hours, realized that the quality of the content was far below my expectations. When I requested a refund, I was met with a series of evasive and intimidating responses.Despite their policy stating that you can request a refund within 24 hours, they refused to honor it, citing a loophole in their terms that excludes refunds for "dissatisfaction with quality." This is a blatant attempt to trap users into paying for a service they are unhappy with.Whats even more concerning is the way they handled my refund request. They accused me of potentially fraudulent activity simply for asking for a refund and threatened to blacklist my account if I pursued a chargeback through my bank. This kind of intimidation is not only unethical but also likely illegal.Their customer service is equally disappointing, as they consistently refused to address my legitimate concerns and instead doubled down on their rigid, unfair policies. It's clear that Open Read is more interested in collecting fees than in providing a quality service or respecting consumer rights.I strongly advise anyone considering Open Read to think twice before subscribing. Their practices are deceptive, and their refund policy is designed to take advantage of users. Ill be pursuing this matter further with consumer protection agencies.Avoid at all costs.
